Public galleries or institutions and members of the public can contact artists on this site. It gives an artist an international platform.Photo Ed

Royal Tyrrell Museum
In the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta you can see fantastic fossils of dinosaurs and large animals that used to roam in Canada. More than 350 species of extinct dinosaurs were found in that area alone. You can visit the digs to see for yourself. http://www.tyrrellmuseum.com/exhibits
Burgess Shale
The Burgess Shale located 2300 metres above sea level in the Canadian Rockies at Yoho National Park in British Columbia are fossils of the earliest mobile creatures that evolved in what would have been a Cambrian sea. My ‘new hybrids’ sprung from my exploration of fossils in that they are reminders of past creatures that had evolved long before and made me wonder what may evolve in the future in a world of diminished species. Check out the Burgess Shale. http://www.burgess-shale.bc.ca/discover-burgess-shale/summary-research
