New Work > Fine Art PRINTS

This is a new series relating to my work in painting and photography of the earths layers . First using black ink,I painted 6-8' long sheets of mulberry paper with large old brushes in Sumie brush strokes. Then I arranged these over an area of stretched canvas 5X8 feet with the intention of glueing them down. The brushed horizontal lines of the paper suggest layers in geological formations near my home. I photographed this and then moved materials into different positions. So the collages became temporal and no they longer exist in that form but were photographed digitally to be presented as a projected image or as a print. The images are abstract yet feel like landforms.
The images are in varying sizes as shown and will be sent to you rolled in a protective tube.
