Painting Series > New Hybrids

Within the process of making art the next images spring from the last as you want to build on the visuals. The Burgess Shale found in British Columbia are fossils of the earliest mobile creatures that evolved in what would have been a Cambrian sea. My ‘New Hybrids’ sprung from my exploration of fossils in that they are reminders of past creatures that had evolved long before and made me wonder what may evolve in the future in a world of diminished species.
